Interactive Media Junior – 2024

Alex Koeberl is a junior interactive media major. He is graduating a year early and is the Creative Director for the Capstone project SoulSync City while doubling as Professor Abzug’s assistant for FUSE. He’s from Skokie, IL, and loves to cook, play video games, and read (he’s been bingeing Haruki Murakami books lately). He is also the Vice President of Fencing Club and Vice President of War Council. Alex aspires to give players experiences they’ll cherish and share with others. He’s mildly funny on occasion and hopes everyone has a great experience at FUSE this year!

Creative Director on SoulSync City

Run, fight, escape. In SoulSync City escape a city overtaken by Modulus, a rogue combat AI. Play as Mei, a rebel on the run, who has access to three unique tools that alter their movement in different ways, and enhances their kinetic energy-storing pistol, that deals damage based on speed. Using their tool(s) and pistol combination, take down Modulus, escape the city, and take back their soul.
