Animation Sophomore – 2024

Hi! I’m Ellie, a sophomore Animation Major who revels in their area of study and also loves digital illustration.
In the past, I also spent a year 3D modeling as a Game Art Major and many more years working to improve
and expand my drawing abilities. In addition to perpetually making art in various media, I also spent
my younger years writing, sewing, crocheting, doing origami and getting absorbed in a multitude of animated
series and games. Art is essentially my life, so I look forward to finding out what I will do with it in professional
settings and how it will impact others.
Like every IM major will express in some form or another, I tell stories with my work. One look at my portfolio
(see link) will convey that I am particularly biased towards science fiction and fantasy, but I am not limited to those
narratives. After all, part of what draws me to create is to be challenged and try new things.
