Trent Lewis

About Me

My name is Trent Lewis, I was born in Dallas Texas and lived there until I was four years old, it was then that my parents decided to move to Zambia (which is in the southern part of Africa) for humanitarian work. I moved around for a couple of years transitioning from a variety of areas in both Zambia, and America, until eventually moved back to America for university. I am a Sophomore at Bradley University Majoring in Game Design in the Interactive media department. I have multiple passions in the arts such as photography, making short films, different mediums of Art and most of all making fun interactive experiences for others to enjoy, otherwise known as games. I don’t only hope to use the skills that Bradley University is teaching me for the “traditional” entertainment industry, but also educational purposes and even simulations as well. I have worked on a variety of projects in the past from board physical activity games, to tabletop games and video games. Being team lead of a FUSE project has taught me so much and I can't wait to do more. I look forward to working on many new projects in the coming years. I believe that my international background can give me the opportunity to share new perspectives and ideas to the industry and I hope that my work can have an effect on the world for the better.

Trent Lewis did the Art. this game was made during his sophomore year in 2018. Trent used a variety of programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, Piskel and Unity. In MANIA the player is battling their way through a lab full of evil robots. fighting these enemies are made more entertaining with fun environments that bring interesting mechanics to the game play.

Trent Lewis was a designer for Rebound. software used included Photoshop, Microsoft Visual Studio and Unity. In this game the player is trying to navigate a level while blind and only using sound (that can be seen through particles bouncing around the level) to see their way through the stages.

Ring Around The Roses

Trent was the Producer and Designer for Ring Around the Roses. This game was completed during the later part of 2018 in Trent's sophomore year. Programs that where used where Photoshop and Illustrator. Ring Around The Roses is a PVE game. in this game the player is attempting to extinguish the plague from their city.

Nebula is an interactive educational experience that is developed for the touchscreen monitor. Individual players create, design, and decorate their very own personal planets. From colossal Terra planet, to dynamically artistic Gas Giants, the player is welcome to express their inner creativity and show who they are. To begin, the player will first choose the type of planet they want to create, Terra Planet, or Gas Giant. In creating the Terra Planet, they will be able to paint a variety of biomes such as grass, snow and bodies of water onto their planet, as well as an assortment of mountains and trees that take their own unique form depending on the biome they are placed in. With Gas Giants, the player can express their unique creativity in an assortment of bright, expressive colors and patterns which are all in lively dynamic motion. Last but certainly not least is the scientific and educational elements to the experience. After the player finishes their very own planet, they will see fun educational facts about their creation. Nebula fuses fun and educational science with an astronomical amount of creativity.
