About Me
I am an Animation major wanting to create and share animations and character stories all over the world. I am aiming for working at an animation studio such as Disney for either creating character art or animation. However, I have experience working in graphic design as well, and have created many GIFs for people. I have worked as a freelance character artist, and have also created character designs for people.
I often spend my free time designing new characters of my own and creating stories for them. When I'm not doing that, I'm making art or animations of my friends' characters. I also spend a lot of time following other artists for inspiration, or for learning how to improve my own techniques. I particularly enjoy working on 2D animations, but I have also learned a lot when it comes to modeling and animating in 3D. I've lately found that working in modeling programs is particularly relaxing, so sometimes I model characters for fun. I post a lot of my art on both my Tumblr and deviantART account, both of which are under the same username. I hope to keep practicing and improving my skills so I can become a great animator.
Featured Projects
Dappled Faun
This was a piece I finished earlier this year. Initially, it was going to just be a simple character design of a faun, but then I decided I wanted to create a more complete art piece with him. This was a way for me to play with different lighting for a bit, as well as practice background art.
Varin's Adventure
This was a 2D endless runner game I created last summer. The game was developed in Unity and all of the art assets were created in SAI and Illustrator. In this game, the player takes control of a magical fox who can shift into different animal forms through the use of power-ups. This was great practice for animating various types of creatures.
