About Me

I am a Senior Game Design student who is excited to show my capstone project We Who Linger This year at FUSE. I am also excited for the future as I have been accepted as an Intern at Volition studios this summer as a designer. My eventual goal is to work as a senior designer for a Star Wars title as it is the fictional world I grew up with and it would be incredible to add to that universe or even help bring part of it to life. My favorite types of games are looter shooters and action RPGs.

Permafrost

This is Permafrost a VR wave defense game me and several others created last year. The goal is to defeat evil snowmen with your snowball throwing skills. It was my first VR game and I worked on it as the environment designer as well as some minor programming tasks as well. It was shown at FUSE 2018.

We Who Linger

We Who Linger

This is my Senior Capstone that I am the Lead designer on. This game has been in development for the better part of a year and is the longest, so far, that I have ever worked on a single project. You play as a guardian spirit who is tasked with protecting a village from ever increasing hordes of enemies all while exploring the world around you to discover secrets and hidden power.

This was a web design project where we were restricted from interacting with the HTML of the site at all and could only customize it using CSS. In other words everything needed to be manipulated through code rather than manually done.

Settled in an isolated valley, a village struggles to survive an onslaught of twisted spirits. Can you change the tide and help the village stand on its own two feet? We Who Linger is a single player wave-based combat game where you run, jump, and glide around a magical world collecting artifacts, retrieving memories, praying to shrines, and fighting hordes of evil spirits to ensure the safety of one village tucked in the ruins of a long forgotten past.
