Keziah Yarnoff
Game Design Anticipated Graduation Date: May 2021
About Me
I am a sophomore Game Design major and illustrator from the Chicago area. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for art and technology; when I found out I could major in game design, I knew there was nothing else I’d rather do. I believe games have social, cultural, and artistic value, and I’m interested in how video games can be used to help people and improve the world around us. I have worked on several game projects during my time at Bradley so far, and I intend to pursue a career as a game artist.
I can be found online at my Tumblr blog under the username @keziahyarnoff.
on Spell Scribe as Artist
Spell Scribe is a 2D, tower defense style game designed for tablets.
The game is about a magician’s library that has run amok and has
started releasing monsters from the books. Players must return the
creatures to their books using various spells they have at their
disposal. Each spell requires the player to write a single word in
cursive to charge the abilities. We are making this game to help
people of all ages grow more familiar with the form and structure of
cursive writing. We hope that after playing the game, the users will
have an easier time recognizing the various letters and how they
connect to one another in practical use.
on Match Ride Rescue as Artist
Match-Ride Rescue is a side-scrolling arcade game. You play as an insect rescue ranger named Wick and bravely pilot a tiny match-powered hot-air balloon. Your goal is to save other bugs from a flood.
You adventure through a forest, avoiding thorns, water droplets, and other obstacles. You must conserve the balloon's fuel to successfully traverse the landscape, collecting matches to refuel. Drifting above pools of water and riding through gusts of wind, you must save all the bugs you can and deliver them to safety.
