About Me

Hey, I’m Ethan and I’m a freshman Animation major with a UI/UX minor from Louisville, Kentucky and my interests include Classic Rock, playing guitar, and of course animation. I’m on the Nebula FUSE team and I am part of its 2D Art and Design team. The reason why I wanted to become an animator is that when I found out that people made cartoons and that it was a job, I finally had an answer to that question that every kid gets asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. From that point on my love for animation grew. Growing up I watched channels like 4KidzTV and Nickelodeon, but my absolute favorite was Cartoon Network. I used to watch it so much that I burnt the CN logo into the corner of the family tv screen, which motivated my dad to get a new tv but then I ended up doing the same thing to that one too. Cartoon Network has always been my main source of inspiration for wanting to get into the industry for animated television, and my dream is to one day return the favor by inspiring someone else to do what they love.

Sellout Club Intro

Sellout Club Intro

I animated this loop as an intro for a youtube channel that my friends Matt, Mitchell, and Jimmy have. It was my first animation commission and it was exactly what they wanted, which was to have it short and wobbly, similar to the intro of a Youtube channel called SuperMega.

Happy Birthday Glenn Frey

Happy Birthday Glenn Frey

I made this tribute to the late Glenn Frey, co-founder of the Eagles, and played a part of one of my favorite songs by the band, "Lyin' Eyes", and I wore a matching shirt for accuracy, although you can't see all of it, trust me when I say they match.
