Avery Krahl

About Me

Hey Everyone! My name is Avery Krahl and I'm currently a Freshman in Animation with a Fine Arts minor. I come from a small town called Sherrard in Illinois where only corn fields can be seen surrounding our town for miles on end. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be the person who made my favorite cartoon characters come to life on the silver screen. I spend most of my time creating digital pieces and animated shorts, as well as staying up to date with everything and anything Marvel. I try to challenge myself each day artistically by learning new techniques and animating difficult movements. I use Instagram as a platform to show my progression as an artist and a person. I'm currently in the process of creating a shop on Redbubble where I hope to sell my art and other creations. Until it's completion you can follow my Instagram @koiboilivin where I try to post daily art that I hope inspires fellow artist to try new and bold things. After four years of dedication at Bradley, I hope that one day I'll get to create art that generations will cherish for years to come.

KoiBoi Livin ( Animation )

KoiBoi Livin ( Animation )

This is a rough sneak peek of a small animated series I'm creating currently called "KoiBoi Livin" about a boi who stands out amongst the crowd. At the pace I'm going and with work and school, I'm hoping to have the first episode done by August 19th of the year.

Eli

Eli

This is Eli, the mascot of my Instagram page and is the protagonist of my current animated series. I got the idea to create him after I decided my Instagram name. He's one of my best original characters that I'm proud to represent my page and show to the world.

Eli & Alic

Eli & Alic

This is a picture of Eli & Alic (his best friend), who like most 18 year olds, find themselves getting into some peculiar situations. The series is going to follow them through thick and thin proving that looks don't mean everything.

Spell Scribe is a 2D, tower defense style game designed for tablets. The game is about a magician’s library that has run amok and has started releasing monsters from the books. Players must return the creatures to their books using various spells they have at their disposal. Each spell requires the player to write a single word in cursive to charge the abilities. We are making this game to help people of all ages grow more familiar with the form and structure of cursive writing. We hope that after playing the game, the users will have an easier time recognizing the various letters and how they connect to one another in practical use.
