About Me
I am a Game Design major with an interest in game art, level design, and writing. I hope to put at least one of these passions to use with a career in the game industry, as either a concept artist, level designer, or story writer. I spend most of my spare time honing these skills, either sketching, writing short stories or character biographies. I also spend a lot of time practicing 3D modeling. I have been teaching myself how to use Blender, ZBrush, and SketchUp, and I am constantly adjusting my workflow to make it more efficient. A collection of my work can be found on my portfolio website, and some of my more recent projects have been posted on my Twitter.
Featured Projects
Lockers
One of my more recent practice sessions with 3D modeling. I wanted to make something like an old run-down locker room, or part of a bunker. I modeled all objects in Blender, using Photoshop to create the textures and normal maps.
Medkit Concept Art
A collection of concept art for a healing item in a game. I experimented with various Photoshop tools, as well as standard shading practices to give the metal a worn, blemished look. This was also an excercize in time, as I limited myself to just half an hour to see what I could do.
