About Me
My name is Keelan Rodgers. I was born and raised in the city of Chicago and have lived there all my life. I am very passionate when it comes to learning how to enhance my skills in art and I am eager to bring my artwork to life. I have been drawing ever since I was 4 years old. All the years of practice and influence from a family member, who also enjoyed drawing, had led me down the path to wanting to pursue Animation with a desire to bring life to my artwork. I now attend Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois as a Freshman and I am majoring in Animation with a minor in Studio Art. During my time here at Bradley, I have been able to interact with many individuals, through the classes with small sizes, and through the job of being an Assistant Resident Advisor. I was able to animate drawings for the first time during my first semester and utilize more aspects from Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. In the future, I hope to create more animations and learn to work in groups in order to get more works of art complete.

Self Portrait
This was a self portrait I did after liking a picture that was taken of me. I decided to instead make it into a drawing. It also tested my skills in Adobe Illustrator. Role: Artist Completed in June of 2018 Utilized Adobe Illustrator
Mystic Flight
For the semester project, our class were assigned the project of creating an animation ourselves. This was my first animation made during the last 8 weeks of the semester. Role: Animator Completed in December of 2018 Utilized Adobe Illustrator and After Effects
