About Me

I am an Interactive Media major with a concentration in Animation and Visual Effects at Bradley University. I am also a minor in Studio Art.

Ever since I can remember, I wanted a career that utilized my skills in fine arts. I felt as if the world was my oyster in my younger years, but I learned that "just making whatever I want" for a living was not the most stable career path. Animation and film has always been a topic of interest for me. As a result, I decided to work to become an animator.

At the moment, I am learning how to make high quality animation and other various media assets. I have learned the ins and outs of plenty of programs through the Interactive Media courses. Learning additional tips and tricks on my own as well as from my peers has made me a stronger artist as well. Of course, I believe I have enhanced my softer skills throughout the years such as providing good feedback, communication, and time-management.

In the very near future, I hope to find more opportunities that will show people what I can do. I am grateful for the interpersonal and professional experience I have gained during my years in college. I plan to continue doing my best so I can become a better artist and a better person.

Featured Projects

Audio Sandbox

Audio Sandbox

This project is the 3D audio sandbox assignment for my sound design course last semester. I built this project in Unity and edited the sounds in Audition. The point of this project was to showcase our sound design knowledge through a 3D game scene that the player can walk around in. This was my first real exposure to Unity, and I was proud that I completed a functioning project with it.

Chess Set

Chess Set

This project is the chess set assignment for my animation for games course this semester. I modeled these chess pieces in Maya. The point of this project was to figure out how to manipulate primitives in Maya with basic transformation tools. This was my first real exposure to Maya, and I was happy that this assignment helped me become familiar enough with this program to work quickly with it.

Lifeline

Lifeline

This project is the final animation for my capstone animation course for the past year. I have used Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, and Processing to put it together. I have been working on this animation for two semesters, and I feel that I have gotten a lot out of it. I have learned new technical skills and bettered my soft skills. More importantly, I feel that I have discovered a lot about myself and my ambitions.
