About Me

I am Pooja Arshanapally and I am a junior at Bradley University. I majoring in Interactive Media with a concentration of Web and Applications Design. Through out my years, I always had a passion for art and a compassion for helping people. The reason I needed to be an Interactive Media major is because I needed a creative outlet. The ability to create individual innovations and seeing it come to life is what I realized what I was searching for.

Ever since I was little, art, in different forms, was always a part of my life. At the age of five I discovered the art of writing. The ability to express your thoughts down onto paper was just unfathomable to me and seeing the words come to life is the reason why I have never stopped writing. Similar to writing, I found other ways to express myself through singing, playing the piano, drawing, and photography.

Another passion of mine is for serving others. I had always had that drive and ambition to help others in any sort of way from playing with kids to talking to the elderly. Through the years I hope to combine these two passions into the career path that I will fulfill.

I took this picture when I was in Bloomington, Illinois at the restaurant The Garlic Press. I looked at all of the bottles at the counter and it was aesthetically pleasing, because of how vibrant the colors were displayed. I then decided to edit the picture so that it would look like it was mirrored.

Phantasia

Phantasia

I took this picture when I was in Charleston, South Carolina. It was in the downtown area of South Carolina. It was during March and the flowers started to bloom and it was a scenic place to take a picture of. In Photoshop I inverted the colors and it completely changed into a fantasy world.

Orbis

Orbis

I took this picture in Decatur, Illinois at a first kid's birthday party. There was a gigantic border of balloons made into an arch before people arrived to sit at their table. I changed the colors in Photoshop, made the colors more vibrant which made the pictures stand out more.

Tom’s Treasure Trove is an interactive scavenger hunt - players use a tablet or smartphone to interact with virtual objects in real space. This augmented reality experience begins as the game’s mascot Tom the Pirate instructs the player to collect as many coins and gems as they can by roaming around the playing area. Using physical images to map 3D objects, players will search for 3D models using the device’s camera. Once found, the player may tap the object to collect it. After time is up, players return to the starting area to get their score and claim their prize.
