About Me

I am a freshman studying animation at Bradley University. I hope to gain experience as well as learn how to cooperate with others in major projects like Tom's Treasure Trove. Since starting college, I have made a one minute animation and an endless runner game for classes using software such as Adobe After Effects and Stencyl, as well as putting effort into helping create Tom's Treasure Trove, such as the concept art. In my free time, I practice my artwork, play video games, browse through social media, listen to music, and research animation and drawing tips to help improve my skills. I enjoy animated cartoons like Steven Universe, and games like Pokemon or Animal Crossing. I also like cats, cute things, makeup, and movie and game soundtracks. I have shops on Redbubble and Society6 to sell my artwork and photography by the name of Arlyis. In my future career as an animator, I aspire to become a character designer or a storyboard artist at any major animation company such as Disney and Dreamworks, as well as practicing with some side animation projects in my spare time. I hope to see my favorite creations being pictured on the big screen someday.

Featured Projects

The Road to La Poania

The Road to La Poania

This is my first animation at Bradley University. It is about two con artists finding their way to the lost colony of La Poania while an angry space captain hunts them down to make a deal. I used Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Story.

Juniper

Juniper

Juniper is a dragon human hybrid who loves to dance and heal others using her crystals. She is also a practice piece to help with character poses and digital art techniques. This is one of the many character designs I create. I have used Adobe Photoshop to create this piece.

Beetle

Beetle

For my drawing class, we had to draw a beetle using colored pencils. I found a very brightly colored beetle and thought he would be fun to draw. This piece took three days to finish and it was fun! I used Prismacolor Pencils for coloring and Adobe Photoshop for editing.

Tom’s Treasure Trove is an interactive scavenger hunt - players use a tablet or smartphone to interact with virtual objects in real space. This augmented reality experience begins as the game’s mascot Tom the Pirate instructs the player to collect as many coins and gems as they can by roaming around the playing area. Using physical images to map 3D objects, players will search for 3D models using the device’s camera. Once found, the player may tap the object to collect it. After time is up, players return to the starting area to get their score and claim their prize.
