About Me

My name is Malcolm Ivy, and I am a freshman Ux major. My interests include Marvel comics, drawing comic books, and I express a great love for all things that revolve around Apple. I enjoy collecting vintage items that range from old gaming systems, to cassette tapes, and I'm a huge fan of technology, and how it progresses with each passing year. I also enjoy reading books, preferably from the 1920's , my favorite author being F. Scott Fitzgerald. In my free time ,when I'm not working on school related stuff, I'm either playing my four instruments, the saxophone, piano cello ,and violin, or painting abstract art on canvases. At this moment my knowledge pertaining to my major is limited , however I am planing on expanding my knowledge, and skill set much further in the next couple of years at Bradley University. By that time I hope to have gained more knowledge to be successful in my field. My main goal in this profession is to create interesting, convenient, and useful products, or tools that people can use, and enjoy using. Hopefully I will be making the object easy for the average person to get something out of it.

Malcolm in 8-bit

Malcolm in 8-bit

The main character of my game is suppose to resemble a pixelated version of me. I used a pixel website that allowed me to create him and place him into photoshop. I placed myself in the game to give it a sense of originality, and have a sense of ownership.

Retro Run Drone

Retro Run Drone

This is concept art for one of the enemies in my game. It represents a futuristic police drone, that flies over my character. This was also done on a pixel making website, and brought over to Photoshop for further editing. The look of the drone fits perfectly with the game.
