Hello, my name is Levi Schoof I am currently a freshman Game Design and Computer Science double major at Bradley University from La Porte, Indiana. I have always had an interest in video games and the programming that makes them work.
I was drawn to video games for a few reasons and that is characters, story, and player choice. I have always had an interest in how games can make characters and stories that players can get attached to. To the point where people will be emotionally affected by things happening in the game. I also enjoy how games are one of the few medias that can give people choice. This fact lets video games do so many things that other types of media can not do.
In the future I hope to work as a programmer for a AAA studio or an indie one, I have not decided yet. I am hoping that since I am a only a Freshman that by the time I graduate I have a better understanding of the game industry. I will use this knowledge to create better projects and hopefully be able to make a more sound choice and where I want to work.
This a screen shot of game play from The Unprepared warrior. I was the only person to work on the project. It was created the first of my semester one of my freshman year. The game was made using Stencyl. The artwork was made using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
This is a background from the intro cut scene from The Unprepared Warrior. I was the only person to work on it and it was made the 2nd half of my first semester at Bradley. It was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
