About Me

My name is Kelly Garner and I am from Yorkville, IL. I am currently a sophomore animation major at Bradley University. I have always had a love for art and used it as a way to relax. Growing up I always watched cartoons on TV and animated movies which influenced me in my decision to study animation. When I am not drawing or working on projects, I enjoy photography, reading, writing, and hiking. I hope to one day work for a studio where I can help create animations that can inspire children and adults to be more creative.

Featured Projects

Koala

Koala

This is a digital drawing that I made in my spare time. It is of a koala who is hanging out in a tree. I used photoshop to create this project.

Diner

Diner

This was the final project for my 2D animation course. In this project, I had to have my character say "I am all alone here" and have it fit into my animation. To create this project I used pencil, paper, a light board, Lightroom and After Effects.

Robot and Snail

Robot and Snail

This was one of the first hand-drawn animations I have done. I created this project for my 2D animation course. The goal in this project was to use a smear in the animation. To create this project I used paper, pencil, a light board, Lightroom and After Effects.
