Kelly Garner Animation
Anticipated Graduation Date: May 20

About Me

My name is Kelly Garner and I am from Yorkville, IL. I am currently a freshman animation major at Bradley University. I have always enjoyed art and used it as a way to relax. I grew up watching cartoons on TV and animated movies which influenced my decision to join the animation program at Bradley University. When I am not drawing or working on projects, I enjoy photography, hiking, fishing, reading and writing. My dream is to work for a company that makes movies or animated TV shows so I can inspire adults and children alike to be more creative in their daily lives.

Featured Projects

Western Kids

Western Kids

This is my first animation that I made. I had to choose dialogue from a movie and then create it into a different genre. For my animation, I chose dialogue from the movie Spy Kids. For this project I used Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Adobe Audition.

Diver Dash

Diver Dash

This is the end of game screen for the game Diver Dash that I created last semester. I used Photoshop, Illustrator and Stencyl to complete this project.

Space

Space

I created this outer space nebula during winter break. The entire image was created using Photoshop.

Feast Hall Frenzy is a VR experience for the HTC Vive. As soon as you put on the headset you will spend the next minute and a half as a powerful wizard. You will have free reign to destroy as much, or as little, of a magical feast hall as you like using three different spells ranging from a fire ball to a telekinesis beam. Made with 3D cartoon like voxel graphics, this experience is great for children, who are old enough to wear the headset, and adults alike.
