Hello, I am a senior game design major at Bradley University, with a minor in creative writing. I've always had a strong passion for creating games, and am thankful to Bradley's game design program for giving me the opportunity to take my passion to the next level.
Since coming to Bradley, I've created more than a dozen games of various types and sizes, from small boardgames to more complex third-person shooters. With the help of two of my colleagues: Zachary Abbott and Arwen Boyer, we even managed to get one our games, Dark is the Night, published and commercialized. I'm happy I made the choice of pursuing my passion of making video games.
When it comes to designing games, my focus tends to lean more towards creating the levels and game world; however I do also enjoy working on the narrative of games, and from time to time programing various aspects of the gameplay, such as the AI of enemies. I can find joy in just about every aspect of game design, which is why I feel that this is the perfect career path for me.
An arcade style game made for the 2018 Global Game Jam. Play as a blob of snot sneezed off the top of a skyscraper. Your objective is to infect as many organisms as you can before you reach the city floor. My role on the game was programmer/designer.
Play as Amelia as you wander the ruins of a once great civilization, now overrun with crazed robots. The game is currently still in development, and is undergoing some major changes to its structure, with me working on its design and programming.
