Jessica Potter Game Design
Anticipated Graduation Date: December 2018

About Me

Hello! My name is Jessica Potter and I am majoring in Game Design at Bradley University. Once I graduate, I hope to go back and get a minor in creative writing and computer science.

I haven't found what I most enjoy about the designing of games (I just love creating in general), however, that doesn't deter me from dabbling here and there! My most recent works include 3D modeling, level designing, sound designing, and documenting. I've also project managed on top of it all.

I strive to gain even more knowledge and experience in the creation of games so I can one day be a part of something fun and meaningful.

Isya

Isya

During my Virtual World Building class, we had to concept a small world from words to sketches to final drawings and eventually create a final build, all while modeling items within the environment. This is the final build within Unity.

Environmental Objects

Environmental Objects

For this project, I created environmental objects inside of Unity using only primitives, which means I only used basic shapes (such as cubes, capsules, and spheres) and textures to build these objects.

Hands

Hands

Even with a solid basic knowledge of human anatomy, hands are feet are one of the hardest things to draw. I decided that I wanted to take on the challenge of drawing hands because I strive to become a better artist. THis piece is the result.

You were set on a mission to look for a missing archaeologist who was last seen exploring the ruins of an ancient Egyptian site. Upon entry, you discover the deceased archaeologist and a booby trap seals the door behind you. Not wishing to face the same fate as the unfortunate soul that entered before, you must uncover a way to disable the trap and escape. Be careful though, you only have 30 minutes until you run out of air!
