About Me

I grew up in California to learn who I am. I didn't always consider to be a game designer. However, as time passed, it was the best profession that stood out the most to me. Then I came to Illinois to hone my professional skills and acquire a degree in Game Design. Apart from learning how to create games, I also hone my artistic skills by drawing, creating design patterns, or even working on a personal project on the sidelines. Sketches becomes drawing, and simple brush lines becomes interesting logos. That's how I maintain my creativity style. I believe originality means everything in projects.

My goal is to either become a lead artist or creative director of a great development team of a game company such as Electronic Arts or become part of a small indie company. I would most appreciate launching my own company, so that I can design the games I want to. That way, I can transform my dreams into a reality that many can enjoy, whether the games are simple platformers / puzzle games or intensely horror games.

The road ahead is quite challenging, but I am willing to put forth my best and sincere work.

The Playdate

I used RPG Maker MV to create this short narrative game independently. The game follows a young boy who journeys into the woods and finds an abandoned house. Made in 11/7/16.

Tally Marks

While working with two other students, I assisted in the making of an anti-war game. We created a sad tale of a family's life through the destruction of war with RPG Maker MV. I designed cutscenes and populated the metropolis with non-playable characters. Made in 12/12/16.

Noisy Studio Apartment

I created a simple 3D environment for a final project. I built a variety of artful displays, objects like pictures to give this place life, etc. I also implemented sounds such as a buzzing fly and leaky faucet to make the space more realistic. Made in 12/8/16.
