Growing up in Honolulu, Hawaii and then coming all the way to Peoria, Illinois, has given me some perspective on life. Being surrounded by so many different cultures, I had thought that I knew as much as I needed. That everything would be pretty simple to understand and manage, as time would go on.
It turns out though I still have much to learn in this world, despite having gone through 4 years of college, especially for my artistic skill. When I graduated high school I felt that my level as an artist was high enough to where I could hold a candle to my peers. But now getting ready to graduate college, I realize now that my skill set was never as high as I once thought.
Don't get me wrong, art has been a pillar in my life, and I plan to utilize it along the way in my career. If anything these four years have broadened my perspective on life, my ambition to learn has been rekindled, and my desire to produce quality work emboldened.
All I want is to create new, amazing works that all can enjoy.
