Connor Murphy is a senior Interactive Media - Animation & Visual Effects student from Minneapolis, MN. He also has minors in Spanish and Studio Art. Connor’s main influences include street art, Hanna Barbera (especially Scooby-Doo), Butch Hartman, and whatever music he’s currently listening to. During his time at Bradley, he has strived to be a part of projects and events bigger than himself and learn new things. During his freshman and sophomore years, he taught himself 3D modeling and then participated in Bradley’s first two virtual-reality games as a 3D artist (ExploreCreate and HOVR). These opportunities gave Connor insight on how to mesh with a team and collaborate to solve problems. His junior year, he participated in the Hollywood Semester; there he interned at Young Hollywood and helped make the Hollywood Semester program’s first video game. At Young Hollywood, Connor held the Graphics Intern position and worked on projects for celebrities like Spencer Ludwig and Victoria Justice. Post-graduation, Connor hopes to make his work stand out with his blend of graffiti and more common art styles. As someone who is proficient in multiple aspects, he is open to any job that allows him to flex his creativity.
