About Me

Caleb Sams is a senior game designer at Bradley University. He loves making and playing games. He makes most of his games in Unity with C# but is also experienced Unreal 4 and GameMaker. He has also has experience with multiple game creation tools like GameMaker, Unity and Unreal. He is also has experience and proficient in multiple asset creation tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Zbrush and 3ds Max. He has spent many years following his passion for games playing, examining and learning about them and what they do right and what they do wrong. He is a team player always looking to help with anything or anyone who needs it on his team.

Siege Tortoise

Siege Tortoise

Siege Tortoise is a side scrolling action game, where the player controls a tortoise fighting against angry hares. The tortoise has a catapult on his back that he uses to throw bombs and rocks at the hares defensive structures. It uses a cute coloring book art style and has simple controls. It was all made by Caleb using Unity.

Square

Square

Square is a 2d action adventure game. Where the player controls the royal square who was recently overthrown by a red square. The game was created to try to tell a story with no words using only simple shapes. The player takes a journey to reclaim their kingdom and learns about it on the way.

Robo Ragnarök

Robo Ragnarök

Robo Ragnarök is a game currently under development by Caleb Sams, James Klock, Luke Brinker and Tyler Gould. It is a 3D vehicle fighting game, where players one of a variety of vehicles and battle with each other till their is only one left rolling. Caleb is the lead vehicle designer for this game and creates and codes the bots.

Starcats is a 4 player, local couch co-op/competitive game made during the 2016-2017 school year. Created by the Senior Game Design class at Bradley, the game challenges players to choose their own strategy: betray their fellow players or work together to achieve a common goal. The first major venture into Game Development for many team members, Starcats has proven to prove itself as an original and refreshing take on the couch co-op genre.
