About Me

I am currently a student at Bradley University majoring in Animation and VFX and minoring in Art. With my time at Bradley I am trying my best to learn as many different skills as I can even if they don’t have to deal specifically with animation. I want to be as well rounded as I can be when I graduate.

I am proficient in most of the Creative Cloud Suite, especially After Effects and Illustrator, HTML5/CSS, and Cinema 4D. I hope to expand my program knowledge as much as possible, but still be flexible in regards to specializing in one area.

I enjoy doing a wide variety of things, but I would say lifting, listening to music, and video games are probably my favorite things to do on a daily basis. Nothing beats a great workout after a long day at work or in classes. I’ve really gotten into bodybuilding and hope to do a competition in the fall of this year with a good friend of mine. My taste in music and video games is basically the same in that I pretty much like everything. I’ve been playing a lot of Fortnight recently and am absolutely in love with the game. I really enjoy learning new skills as well. I spend a lot of time on School of Motion utilizing the free tutorials they offer as well as watching YouTube videos that teach me something interesting or new.

Dark Knight Lyric Kinetic Type

Dark Knight Lyric Kinetic Type

January 2018. Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. A fun side project I did because I just like the song lyrics. I've really been enjoying doing kinetic type pieces. They've helped me learn a lot more about After Effects and have really helped improve my overall skill with After Effects. It's really helped me explore more about my style as an animator and motion designer.

Giving Tuesday Kinetic Type

Giving Tuesday Kinetic Type

Sole creator. November 2017. Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. I created this video for my internship at Bradley. It was to promote the University's Giving Tuesday event. It was a very ambitious project considering the time constraint but I was incredibly happy with how it turned out. It got a lot of great feedback from peers and really helped me grow professionally and with my technical skills in After Effects.

Motion Graphics Designer. November 2017. Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. This was one of the later projects I did in the first half of my internship for Bradley. I mainly worked on the motion graphics for this video, but I also helped gather footage with my boss, Seth, for this video as well.
