Jay Dove is a Sophomore Animation student from Oswego, Illinois with a complimentary major in Painting. She specializes in key framing, character design, and in betweening. They have a special love for acrylic painting, but focus on digital composition. He’s passionate about exploring new programs and learning on the fly, though Toon boom takes #1 for his favorite animation platform. When she’s not animating or drawing, she’s listening to music, watching The Owl House, or trying to craft something out of cardboard and hot glue. When all is said and done, Jay just wants to spark connection through visual storytelling. She dreams to help others feel seen and understood like how she does when watching her favorite animated shows.
