Erica Duncan is a Junior Animation major from Chicago, IL with a passion for prop and background design. She specializes in programs such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator. In her free time, she enjoys making sketches, and spending time at home on the weekends. Erica’s goal for the future is to pursue a job in the field of animation.
“The Tale of Valleyville” is a short film about a fairy finding an unlikely hero to save the day when a fire breaks out in her village. A narrator provides commentary as the tale unfolds, creating a similar sensation to storybooks. The film features a stylized art style and classic 2D animation, further evoking illustrated picture books.
