Nabeela Rahman

Electrical and Computer Engineering Senior – 2025

Nabeela Rahman is a Senior Electrical Engineering with Computer Option major from Peoria, IL with a minor in Creative Writing. But, she has always been passionate about visual art including asset creation and illustration. She is currently working on projects that foster the voices of minorities, including her own, in her free time. Nabeela’s goal is to continue to expand on her storytelling ability through visual art. Her dream is to work in the animation pipeline at one of her favorite animation studios.

The Great Strawberry Heist as Artist

The Great Strawberry Heist is a 2D vertical platformer built for the arcade cabinet that follows the clash of two unlikely foes. In our game, the player, a mischievous hamster has its eyes set on getting a bite out of the bright red strawberry sitting atop the towering dessert, belonging to a terrifying cat. The hamster must navigate through a variety of platforms, dodge falling globs of icing, and jump over rolling oranges in order to make it to the top and claim the strawberry. However, the cat won’t hesitate to pull out all the stops in order to prevent the hamster from taking what’s rightfully hers, including her razor-sharp claws… Come visit us at FUSE to see who will prevail in this epic contest over the strawberry topped cake and claim the ultimate prize.
