Animation Freshman – 2028

Jay has always wanted to be an animator. Ever since watching The Owl House, their goals to become one solidified. Her favorite parts of the field are in-betweens, backgrounds, and inking. They are loving college and participated in both the 24hr Animation Challenge and the 12to12 Animation Challenge and had a BLAST at both. She loves meeting new people and trying new things so she’s excited to see where they land within the animation industry. They can’t wait to take part in future fun animation events and continue her education.

“SketchBound” is a fun, feel-good, animated short film. It follows Email, a lonely middle schooler who struggles at a new school until she finds friendship through creating art and forming an Art Club. This film leans into an exaggerated and hand-drawn style in order to emulate an actual middle school artist.

We’re designers, developers, and dreamers. Our devotion to creating something new and that has never been done before inspired us to make something magical.
