Evan Loraine is a Junior Animation major and Creative Writing minor from St. Louis, Mo. He’s always loved animation for its ability to break bounds which hold other mediums back, such as impossible angles, forms, and motions meant to carry more direct intent than most live performances. Every aspect of animation is planned with the purpose of conveying the story, emotions, or simply a sense of interest. He leans towards storyboarding as a preference, but finds things to love about all aspects of animation and illustration. He takes a lot of inspiration from horror and drama media, with a goal in place to work on projects including the two.
