My name is Ryan Voss, and I am a Senior Game Design major at Bradley University graduating in May of 2020. From a young age, I have been encapsulated by video games and their sprawling and deep worlds that I have been sucked into for countless hours of my life. The game that made me want to become a game designer was World of Warcraft, experiencing that game and its massive open world for the first time gave me such wonder as I explored a new environment for the first time. It is experiences like this that I wish to create for the next generation to inspire their minds as the creative minds of tomorrow.
Circuit Breaker is one of the senior capstone projects this year. I am the Lead Designer on the project. Circuit Breaker is a one-versus-many, single player, turn-based strategy game in which you will have to attract the audience to aid you in order to be victorious.
Vociferous Patch Attack
Vociferous Patch Attack is a cooperative yelling game created in 48 hours for the Global Game Jam 2020. On the project I was a designer, artist, and audio programmer. During the game you play as a truck and it's attached turret in order to repair relays that will protect from an alien invasion. Yelling at the screen is required to repair yourself and the relays, because nothing says teamwork like yelling at each other to fix your problems.
