Paige Fitch
Animation Anticipated Graduation Date: May 2023
About Me
Hello! My name is Paige Fitch, and I'm a Freshman Animation major from Grayslake, Illinois. I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, and grew a love for animation when I first watched Disney's Fantasia. While working for a big company is any animator's dream (mine included), I wouldn't mind working anywhere so long as I get to do what I love doing now, which is drawing and animating!
When I'm not drawing, I turn my passion towards the gym where I like to work out, or at the Newman Center, where I enjoy expressing my Catholic identity. However, on my rest days, you can find me sitting in front of a screen playing video games, watching TV, or reaching out to my friends. As an animator, I hope I can tell stories and create art that will leave a positive impact on my audiences, and help bring me closer to my religion!
Featured Projects

Character Model Sheet
A character model sheet I designed for the 24 hour animation challenge. I was given the task of creating a compelling character that would be a cowboy miniature schnauzer. It was hand drawn and animated in Photoshop on a graphics tablet.

Pokemon Profile Picture
This was a digital icon I made. I'm a longtime fan of Pokemon games, anime, and media, and I was looking for a new profile picture. So, I decided to challenge myself to create a self-portrait in an art style different from my own using one of my favorite pokemons! This was done in Photoshop on a graphics tablet.

Animal Skull Study
This piece was a sketchbook study I did in my Art 102 class. Whenever I got the opportunity to choose a still life object from the art closet, I somehow always went for the skull -- even though I have no idea what animal it came from. Unfortunately, someone broke this skull not too long ago, but at least I have something to remember it by!
