About Me

My name is Kia Woods-Wall, and I am a senior animation major. Being an animation major at Bradley, I have created numerous animations using different styles: traditional 2D, stop-motion, and 3D. As a result, I have found that I enjoy creating and animating 3D environments and models within Cinema4D. Currently, I am working on my original capstone film, Fixed, which follows an android that is trying to put themself back together.

By the Lakeside

Lakeside was my second attempt at creating a 3D environment. I used Cinema4D to create the background and mainly used primitive shapes for the trees and rocks. After rendering the image, I imported it into Photoshop and played around with the saturation.

Silent Beauty

Silent Beauty

I created Silent Beauty using Photoshop and ClipStudio. I love the look of traditional Chinese wear. It looks airy and graceful, and I wanted to capture those aspects of the robes and sash with this image.

Redraw: Karin

Redraw: Karin

Karin was drawn and shaded in Photoshop and is a redraw of a character I created in 2009. The original drawing was stiff and very vertical. So with this redraw, I put the character in a more dynamic pose and gave the clothing more motion as well.
