Featured Projects

Sun Wukong

Sun Wukong

A sketch of the legendary Monkey King from Journey to the West, which depicts the mischievous sage in the events after the journey. With his newly gained humility, no matter how small, he chooses to continue wandering the world looking for trouble, adventure, and peaches.

Bohtu the Hunter

Bohtu the Hunter

A concept for one of the characters of my current novel, Bohtu was once amongst the greatest hunters of his tribe. Due to the treachery and jealousy of his fellow hunters, however, he was sent away from his home and into the hands of slavers. After his liberation, he chooses to change his name to Bohtu, having had forgotten his previous one, and chooses to travel the seas with The Captain as the ship's hunter, fisherman, and tracker.

The Fall Forest

The Fall Forest

A painting created in Photoshop, The Fall Forest was an attempt at challenging myself to a imitate the art style of the Samurai Jack animated series. Concept art from the show, images of autumn woods, as well as the fact that the designers used spray paint in some of the pieces, were used as reference for creating the piece.
